Submission Deadline: March 1, 2020 For this year’s ThinkTwice conference the tagline is “ante portas”. We will focus on near future technologies, and the implications they will have for society. . The conference will offer space for up to 200 participants to meet over the course of two days to present lectures and participate in panels focusing on the future and upcoming challenges. All sessions will be streamed live. Video recordings and conference proceedings will be published afterwards. The event is entirely non-profit and sponsored by Pirate Parties International and the Czech Pirate Party. Participation is open to the public, and speakers will include leader from a variety of organizations who seek to debate policies that target future technologies and their implications. |

We are looking for session submissions on the following themes (other topics are allowed as well): Human Rights: security, data protection, surveillance, FOI, basic income, emigration, voting rights, drones, non-proliferation, dual use technology, encryption, anonymity, transparency, net neutrality, open data, egovernment, society, whistle blowing, political science, etc… Terms and conditions of paper submission Key milestones Conference dates are 25th and 26rd of April 2020 with the social reception on April 24th |
