icOEPN 2020 : International Conference on Optical and Photonic Engineering - Ei Compendex, Scopus

The International Conference on Optical and Photonic Engineering (icOPEN) is the flagship event of the Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore (OPSS), and has been successfully held in Singapore, China and Thailand yearly since 2011.

Organized by OPSS, previous icOPEN conferences have gathered worldwide participants in Optical and Photonic Engineering. Following the success of icOPENs, the icOPEN 2020 will be hosted by Jiangsu University, co-organized by Tsinghua University, supported by worldwide universities, associations and societies and held in Zhengjiang, China during October 16~19, 2020.

Photomechanics is one of the most important and active research directions of experimental mechanics, which embodies the intersection and fusion of Optics and mechanics. Since 2002, Asian Society of experimental mechanics has hosted the Asian Conference on Experimental Mechanics (ACEM). In order to enrich the theme of the conference and increase academic exchanges among different disciplines, icOPEN 2020 will include special tracks on Asian Conference on Experimental Mechanics to exchange the latest research results in this field.

This year’s conference will provide a timely platform to discuss cutting edge technologies and experimental mechanics both in the research front and those closer to industry, and promote optical and photonic engineering to a wider audience, and greater interaction between academia and industries.
