ICMER 2019 : 5th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Research (ICMER)

International conference on Mechanical Engineering Research (ICMER) is one of the biggest academic events in East Coast of Malaysia organized every two years by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FKM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). ICMER2019 is the 5th conference to be organized at international level after four of such successful events. The conference was first started at national level in 2010 with the name as National Conference on Mechanical Engineering Research (NCMER). NCMER was organized twice in May and December of 2010. It was the third conference in 2011 that the faculty decided to extend the conference to international level, representing a significant milestone in the history of the faculty internationalising our conferences by inviting researchers and participants from other universities and research institutions worldwide. The event took its current name as 1st International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Research (ICMER2011). The 2nd ICMER was held in the Bukit Gambang Resort in July 2013. The conference has proved itself as the largest international academic event where over 209 papers have been presented. The 3rd ICMER was held in Zenith Hotel in August 2015 attracting of 198 paper presenters. The 4th ICMER was held in Swiss Garden Resort Hotel and Spa in August 2015 and more than 100 papers were presented. The 5th ICMER will be held this year at Kuantan in July 2019.
