The 2020 IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE) will be held on 20-24 August 2020 in Hong Kong. The IEEE CASE is the flagship automation conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and constitutes the primary forum for cross-industry and multidisciplinary research in automation. Its goal is to provide a broad coverage and dissemination of foundational research in automation among researchers, academics, and practitioners. The theme of the conference isAutomation Analytics. Due to the recent 2019-nCoV epidemic, important dates of CASE2020 have been extended. At this stage, epidemic is contained in Hong Kong. Hong Kong has been very experienced and professional in handling epidemics ever since SARS some 17 years ago. Therefore, we expect that we should be able to hold CASE2020 in Hong Kong as originally planned. Please feel confident and be encouraged to submit your papers and/or presentation abstracts according to the new deadlines. Also please encourage your colleagues, students and professional friends to submit papers and/or abstracts. We will try our best to offer you an enjoyable and fruitful conference experiences in Hong Kong. In the meanwhile, we shall carefully observe guidelines from Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR) government and The University of Hong Kong, and liaise with CASE steering committee and IEEE for any necessary actions in the near future. We shall keep you well informed in advance. |
