The International Workshop on Reading Music Systems (WoRMS) is a novel workshop that tries to connect researchers who develop systems for reading music, such as in the field of Optical Music Recognition, with other researchers and practitioners that could benefit from such systems, like librarians or musicologists. |
Call for Papers |
The workshop will take one day and consist of multiple sessions. Each speaker will be given 15 minutes to present their work (12 minutes presentation, with 3 minutes Q&A). Each session is followed by approximately 15-20 minutes of panel discussion with all speakers from that session, allowing to answer open questions and giving room for discussions. The workshop seeks to connect researchers from the field of Optical Music Recognition with potential users. We are open for everything that is related to music, that has been written.
