Introduction
The first edition of the book, "Formal Languages for Computer Simulation: Transdisciplinary Models and Applications" investigates a variety of programming languages used in validating and verifying models in order to assist in their eventual implementation.
On this new edition "Computer Simulation Models and Transdisciplinarity for the Upcoming Industrial Revolution" we will introduce the novelty on this topic and we will explore different new methods of evaluating and formalizing simulation models, enabling computer and industrial engineers, mathematicians, and students working with computer simulations to thoroughly understand the progression from simulation to product, improving the overall effectiveness of modeling systems.

Objective
The objective of the book is to improve a first edition of the book "Formal Languages for Computer Simulation: Transdisciplinary Models and Applications" , incorporating the new trends and the connection of the explained techniques with the upcoming industrial revolution "Industry 4.0".

Target Audience
"Computer Simulation Models and Transdisciplinarity for the Upcoming Industrial Revolution" investigates a variety of formal languages used in the definition, validation and verification of models in order to assist in their eventual implementation. This book will explore different methods of formalizing and evaluating simulation models, enabling computer and industrial engineers, mathematicians, and students working with computer simulations to thoroughly understand the progression from simulation to product, improving the overall effectiveness of modeling systems. This book will be focused on the definition of digital twins in the frame of the Industry 4.0, hence professionals like CDO, CIO, CDO CAIO, Expert in simulation of industrial processes, CTO, CPO, CPO, COO or Expert in robotics and IoT, among others will be also interested.

Recommended Topics
The many academic areas covered in this publication include, but are not limited to:

Discrete Event System Specification
Forrester Diagrams
Mapping Techniques
Petri Nets
Simulation Tools
Specification and Description Language
Transformation Algorithms
Unified modeling language
Application of formal languages to Industry 4.0

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit a new version of the chapter submitted on the previous edition of the book and they must confirm on August 30, 2019 they acceptance and the proposed modifications to the chapter. Upon acceptance, full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 30, 2019, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
The authors will be notified on October 10, 2019 for proposals on modifications on the chapters. Final submission will be on Nov 15, 2019.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Trust in Knowledge Management and Systems in Organizations. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.

All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery®TM online submission manager.
