We invite you to participate in the international summer school on Artificial Intelligence, organized by the Russian Association for Artificial Intelligence (RAAI, http://raai.org) and supported by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT, https://mipt.ru) and Yandex company (http://yandex.ru).The school will take place at MIPT campus, Moscow, Russia from the 4th to the 7th of July. The key idea of the school is to combine theory and practice and to attract young students (all levels: under-graduate, graduate, PhDs) to modern academic and business projects in the field of AI. Every day of the school is divided into two parts: lectures about the frontiers of AI delivered by the world-wide experts from academia and practical sessions and workshops from the industrial partners of the school, during which real business cases will be examined and programming competitions (hackatons) held.
We call for papers on young scientists’ ongoing research (either in English or in Russian). Selected papers will be chosen by the program committee for publication. Proceedings in Russian will be published as a book and indexed in RSCI. Proceedings in English are planned to be published by Springer in one of their CS book series. School’s moto is “Developing Artificial - Don’t Overlook Natural”. We are sure that qualified specialist in the field of AI is not merely a “data scientist” but an interdisciplinary researcher who masters not only the tools of machine learning but methods, models and algorithms of knowledge representation, reasoning, planning etc. This researcher is interested not only in computer science but in the cognitive psychology, neurobiology and other disciplines that might be the source of new ideas for the AI algorithms.
