Applied Soft Computing in Computer Networking: Potentials & Challenges - International Journal of Computer Networks & Communications (IJCNC)--Scopus,ERA Listed Call for Papers Special Issue on : "Applied Soft Computing in Computer Networking: Potentials & Challenges" Guest Editors:
This issue will emphasize on the potentials of how soft computing tools can be applied to tasks that deal with imprecise definition and uncertainty modeling to perform these tasks more effectively. It will serve as a basic reference material to researchers, academicians, scientists and industrialists working in the area of soft computing to share and exchange their views and ideas on the theory and application of soft computing techniques in multidisciplinary areas. We are aimed to provide a comprehensive platform for the researchers to come up with the innovative approaches for handling different kinds of uncertainties of real-life problems using the present state-of-art of applied soft computing. This issue is also committed to explore the future scope of work in soft computing and it is unique step to bridge the gap between theory and real life day-to-day issues. This issue will provide a unified manifesto for applied scientists to apply the soft computing tools in many diverse domains of engineering and the challenges faced during the process. This issue will focus on case studies based on synthetic data and real-life data from different domains of the life and explore the new domains of applied soft computing specially in the domain of computer networks and communications.
2. This Special Issue is a call for extended papers of presentations held during the 4th International Conference on Soft Computing: Theory and Applications (SoCTA 2019), December 27-29, 2019 at National Institute of Technology Patna, India. Authors of selected papers of the conference will be invited to submit extended versions which can be published in special issue upon evaluation. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Previously published conference papers should be clearly identified by the authors, with a mention of the conference name and a reference to the original paper, and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper. Papers that extend conference contributions must include at least 50% new material, and the authors should explain how such papers have been extended).
The symposium will also have invited talks/key-note addresses from eminent persons working in this field which will be of immense value to all. Both hardware and software solutions are solicited within the scope of the call. Original, unpublished technical papers having novel and important contributions will be considered for the special issue; submitted papers must not be published, accepted or under review by another journal. All manuscripts should be submitted through International Journal of Computer Networks & Communications (IJCNC). The manuscripts should be submitted to one of the guest editors by Jan 15, 2020 through email [email protected] Authors should strictly follow the manuscript format and submission procedure of International Journal of Computer Networks & Communications (IJCNC). Important Dates Submission Deadline : January 15, 2020 Authors Notification : February 15, 2020 Final Manuscript Due : February 29, 2020
