Conference Call for paper
The 2019 15th International Conference on Natural Computation, Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (ICNC-FSKD 2019) will be held from 20-22 July 2019 in Kunming, China, co-located with the 5th International Conference on Harmony Search, Soft Computing and Applications (ICHSA 2019). Kunming is the capital and largest city of Yunnan province in southwest China. Kunming is also called the Spring city due to its mild sunny weather all year round. Kunming is located at the northern edge of the large Lake Dian, surrounded by famous temples. Attractions near Kunming include Stone Forest (South China Karst, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site), Village of Ethnic Culture, Western Hill and Dragon Gate. Other UNESCO sites in Yunan are Old Town of Lijiang, Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas, Chengjiang Fossil Site / Maotianshan, and Cultural Landscape of Honghe Hani Rice Terraces / Yuanyang.
As with the past ICNC-FSKD & ICHSA conferences, all papers in conference proceedings will be submitted to both EI Compendex, SCOPUS, and ISTP (ISI Proceedings) (All previous ICNC-FSKD conferences from 2005 to 2017 and ICHSA 2015, 2017, and 2018 have been indexed in Ei Compendex). ICNC-FSKD & ICHSA 2019 proceedings will be published by Springer(pending).
ICNC-FSKD is a premier international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of data mining and intelligent methods inspired from nature, particularly biological, linguistic, and physical systems, with applications to computers, circuits, systems, control, communications, and more. This is an exciting and emerging interdisciplinary area in which a wide range of theory and methodologies are being investigated and developed to tackle complex and challenging problems. The registration fee includes proceedings, lunches, dinners, banquet, coffee breaks, and all technical sessions.
ICHSA is an international forum for researchers in the area of Harmony Search (HS) and other soft computing techniques and their application to diverse science and engineering problems. HS is one of the most popular metaheuristic algorithms, developed in 2001 by Prof. Joong Hoon Kim and Prof. Zong Woo Geem, that mimicks the improvisation process of jazz musicians to seek the best harmony.
Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts written in English. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Authors should use the Latex style files or MS-Word templates obtained from the conference site to format their papers. Authors should submit PDF files of their manuscripts via the online submission system. Submissions imply that the papers have not been submitted elsewhere and will not be submitted elsewhere for publications before the review decisions of this conference.
